Notice on the Winter Vacation of 2023-2024

You have finished the study of the Academic year 2023-2024 with your efforts. We hope that we will get the further support and cooperation from you in the future. Here's what you need to know before winter vacation 2023:●Duration of the winter vacation: Jan 14, 2024 — Feb 23, 2024●Date for registration: Feb 24, 2024Every student should apply the new semester registration on Study Partner(APP) with payment record, the CR should collects the student ID cards of the class and submits them to the office for registration.Those who fail to register on the confirmed date without having asked for a leave will be deemed to withdraw school voluntarily.●Date for commencement of classes : Feb 26, 2024●Office will post the notice and information(including the timetable and academic calenders) in the leader group (WECHAT), please check with your monitor regularly, we will not inform it individually.●Recheking application: the results-rechecking is for the rechecking of the final exam of 2023-2024(1) semester. There is one form for one subject of each student who wants to apply for rechecking. Please CR of each class collect all forms from classmates in each class and classify them into different subjects, summarize all application forms for the same subject into one folder, and consolidate each subject folder into a compressed package and send it to the email hnmu_academic@hainmc.edu.cn, the naming method is "Class+RecheckingForm". Both electronic and paper versions of rechecking forms must be submitted. The office does not accept individual email applications and submissions. Please submit on a class by class CR. The paper version of the document needs to be signed by your Counselor Teacher and stamped with the official seal of the Students Affairs office before submission. The submission deadline for electronic version is before Feb 16, 2024, and paper versions should be submitted before Feb 23, 2024.●Visa, residence permit and re-entry procedures are NOT AVAILABLE during winter vacation. The visa, residence permit and re-entry formalities must be completed within 30 working days before the holiday. If the student fails to go through the formalities according to the regulations and leads to illegal residence, the resulting punishment shall be borne by the student oneself.●As the winter vocation is around the corner, we hope sincerely everyone will have a happy and relaxed holiday at first, with the precondition of well-arrangement of your life and striking a balance between study and amusement. Besides those, students decided to remain at university are required to do the followings:
- Student in school are NOT ALLOWED to leave Hainan during the winter vacation.
- Write an application with time to the on-duty teacher if getting out of Hainan Island(by Email/QQ/Wechat).
- Swimming in the beach is especially forbidden.

- When you return to Haikou from abroad, you must register in Local Police Station within 24 hours(The residence area police station, students living in school dorm should take a living certificate from BGS211 and do it in Chengxi police station). Otherwise you will be punished for 500 yuan per day, your name will be in the black list for visa extension.
- Students should live in dorm for the first year. Those who want to live off the dorm from the second year should get the parents’ permission and through necessary procedures, and submit your application though Zhangshang Haiyi student OA.
- The responsibility for all consequences caused by violating those mentioned above will be taken by students themselves.
